eTOWN HALL SPECIAL EVENT with JEFF MIDKIFF
Concert, Conversation and Earth Day Celebration
Wednesday, April 23, 7-10 PM
For something completely different, join composer and mandolin virtuoso Jeff Midkiff, our own Michael Butterman, and eTown’s Nick Forster for an evening of great music, conversation and refreshments at eTown Hall in Downtown Boulder (1535 Spruce St.).
Exploring the bluegrass roots of Jeff’s music, you’ll hear traditional bluegrass favorites mixed in with Jeff’s own material, including excerpts from his Concerto for Mandolin, “From the Blue Ridge,” to be performed with the Boulder Phil on Saturday, April 26. And no eTown event is complete without wide-ranging conversation about music and the environment, an especially poignant way to wind up our Nature and Music season in honor of Earth Day on April 22.
Tickets are $15 per person.
