Autumn Pepper is a versatile violinist originally from small-town Arizona. When she was seven, she heard Celine Dion on TV performing “To Love You More” with a live violinist. From then on, she was hooked. She moved to Colorado to follow her undergraduate violin teacher, Mark Rush, to the University of Denver. Falling in love with Colorado, she continued her studies with Harumi Rhodes and Claude Sim at the University of Colorado, Boulder. After finishing her Suzuki Certificate back at the University of Denver, she turned her pursuits to playing and teaching professionally. She’s played with the Boulder Chamber Orchestra, Boulder Symphony, Cheyenne Symphony, Denver Philharmonic, Fort Collins Symphony, Greeley Philharmonic, Pueblo Symphony, the Sphere Ensemble, and Steamboat Symphony. She loves living on the Front Range because you can get the best of both worlds: city life with access to great art and artists, as well as mountain life with nature and quiet. She fills her time teaching a full studio of violin and viola students at West Denver Suzuki Strings, and building her band, Private Society, with her husband.
