Bron Wright
Principal Trombone
Performing with the Boulder Phil since 2009
When not sitting in the back of the orchestra counting rests, Bron enjoys chasing fresh powder, enjoying a morning cup of coffee by the side of the road and even taking the controls over a few Mediterranean islands. Having moved to Colorado from Boston in 2005, Bron has counted rests with such orchestras as the Boston Symphony, Boston Pops, Utah and Colorado symphony orchestras and has faked playing softer under such conductors as Seiji Ozawa, Kurt Masur, John Williams, Leonard Slatkin and Michael Tilson Thomas.
