Leah Mohling grew up in Boulder and has made her way back to the area after several years away. After receiving her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Violin Performance from Boston University, she performed all over the world as a young musician with several prestigious orchestras such as the the New World Symphony, Spoleto Festival (USA/Italy), Sarasota Opera, National Repertory orchestra, Breckenridge Music Institute, and Disney All American Orchestra. After a few years as a member of the violin section in the New Mexico Symphony and then the Louisiana Philharmonic in New Orleans, she went on to join the Minnesota Orchestra as Assoc. Personnel Manager. She couldn't be happier to be back home near her family now, raising her kids where she herself was raised, in beautiful Colorado. She has loved leading the Second Violin section of the BPO and hopes to continue making music for many more years to come!
